ALWAYS USE 93 OR HIGHER OCTANE IN THE GTS ALWAYS. Sorry about the caps, but i wanted my point to get a cross. Celica is more efficient.

The GTS engine requires higher octane fule 91 or higher because of the High compression.

Anyone with a GTS HAS to use 91+. It's all about the compression ratio.

yes.. high compression requires better octane. which sucks though cause here in CA the gas prices are one of the highest.. yet the highest SUPREME octane is 91.

lower octane gas will cause the engine to knock because the fuel/air mix will combust too early and that is why it knocks.. that is why toyota recommends a minimum of 91 octane on the gts
