I want to sell the celica and buy a car that cost around $2000 so I can save up money every month and have enough to buy an SRT-4 by the end of the summer.

I love the celica, but now I want to buy an SRT-4 really bad. And if I buy a $2k car I will not have any payments and insurance will be cheap, so that way I can save up. thumbsup

celica is such a better car than the srt-4, why would you want to do that.
just because it's fast means nothing

I thought about doing this towards the end of this previous summer. My celica got wrecked pretty bad. I got plenty of money to repair the car, plus $8,000 to cover medical, and compensation. The dealer was going to give me $10,000 for my 2002 GT with 50,xxx miles. I was looking at getting an 05 SRT-4 in the Orange Blast Pearl. I was ready to sign all the papers. Insurance would have only changed about $150 more every six months on my clean record.

I decided against it. My heart wanted the EVO 8, but I was ready to settle for the SRT-4 because it still had plenty of potential. Also, my car is fully paid off, I'm a full time student, and I'm lucky to work even part time. So it wasn't cost feasible. I love my car, and I think it looks so much better than the SRT-4. Plus, EVERYBODY seems to have an SRT now. They're everywhere. When I got my Celica, I picked it becuase very few people had one in my area. They're everywhere too now, but not as common as the SRT. I'm just going to save my $$ for the EVO 9 in 2006. It'll be my college graduation gift to myself!

He's young. Maybe that's all he wants.

Either way, I say good luck.

wtf

Being fast means nothing? Ok. Your statement seems a little weird to me seeing as how everyone seems to be working on a cars performance nowdays.

Sure you can save a little but you may want to come up with at least $5000 for a down payment & then have a high monthly payment. Can you come up with stacks of cash by the end of the summer?

hahaha i loved that vid..if that's what you were referring to.

as far as srt-4, i wouldn't buy one...but they are faster and probably just as reliable as a celica. i just don't like the styling of them at all...both interior and exterior. thats basically my only complaint.

two totally different cars
one is ugly and domestic to lots of people and is a piece, the only good thing people see in it is that it goes fast, which is what everyone wants.
i already went through that with my wrx, just wasn't the same as the celica even though having it fast was fun, the celica was such a nice car.

but i see he wrecked his celica, so it would probably be better to just go for a new car anyway.
but i don't think he should get an srt4, i would recommend an 05 wrx over that.

from what i can tell you want a fast straight line car. Just go for the SRT-4 if thats what you want.
