Hey guys...I'm seriously thinking about attempting a custom trunk enclosure type setup...but that's all i know. I don't know what i really want it to look like, or how much it will cost to do it myself...or rather if i can. I like to think i'm pretty skilled in general...but will this be my match? Could any of you guys with custom trunk enclosures post pics? anyone have any advice? I'm very open minded as of now. Thanks so much guys!

looks good Caleb - but that's gonna run you a few grand easy... how about $500 . the stuff to do it is cheap cheap cheap (fiberglass WEAVE is like 3 bucks a yard..and if you use the mat thats cut in half..better to use the weave though when dealing with 'boxes')..its labor costs that steal your wallet. i've done some fiberglass work already...since my car is sitting around already i think i'm going to try my hand at it. and can you say 'carbon fiber overlaid fiberglass'?? haha you know that just pricked your ears, sultan (that crap is like $28 a yard..not to mention the epoxy resin is more expensive than polyester resin for fiberglass) we'll see.

^^ no, you must be hearing things carbon fiber is kinda too expensive to do total fabrications with (for me anyway) but just doing a top overlay after everything has been fabricated with fiberglass isn't TOO bad pricewise. and tim, i responsed to your PM

I bought my fiberglass sytem used. (see pics in profile), but to reproduce it brands new they wanted 3 g's just to do the fiberglass.
My car might be slow, but at least it looks nice!
