My remote works differently depending on the city I'm in, so if you don't care about actually getting paged when you're 100 feet away, get what you want. I'd certainly ask before you blow money on a pager that isn't going to work because of where you live.

DEI took over Clifford about 4 or 5 years ago. Just look at the picture of the Clifford remote, same thing as the Viper except the case is carbon fiber as opposed to blue (The Python case is dark grey, BTW).
