Alright guys so this idea popped in my head today, and i want to know what you guys think...whether it would be a good idea or not.

I'm thinking about customizing my interior, and i might start with this:

I wanna take out my center console, cover the sides of it with a thin layer of bondo (you'll notice there is a seam around the sides of the console), sand it down, and paint it to match the exterior of my car. That line also follows up into the footwells which i would also do, and down the side of the door where the front speaker is and flows back to the pocket in the side of the door. I saw the new porsche's have the center console the color of the body, and it looked really sweet. What do you guys think?

good idea or bad idea?

good idea.

if you paint the dash and corresponding parts the same as your outside..just try to offset the 'overkill' by painting your center console and trim pieces a different color (but make sure it still flows). you don't want the whole car to be one color inside & out..that would be an extremely bad idea.

yeah i have pictures of something like that on my computer... try looking through the ecelica gallery... i know i've seen the doors and footwells painted before... that's what i was gonna do to my car a while ago too... but i'm still not sure whether or not to paint my interior

yeah i've seen some painted before...but i want the same finish as the outside...smooth and glassy not the textured like now. I've seen guys who got interior paint and just sprayed it but that doesn't look taht good imo. Yeah i just want to do that section around the console and around the footwells...cuz it won't be too much done since it's not the top surface. Also i'm planning on getting a Carbon Fiber dash kit and everything...so my interior will be the dark grey (stock) black leather seats and armrests etc...silver parts...and Carbon Fiber dash...I think it should look well done. Bondo will stick to that stuff right?
