I was thinking about tinting it 50% because the sun is always in my eyes in the morning on the way to school/work. What do you guys think? I think I can get it done for $15 which is pretty cheap too. And it is lifetime guaranteed.

Is 50% tint gonna fuck up my visibility that much during the night. 50% is the lightest tint there is though rite? So far i have the following tint:
rear winshield -> 15% 2 rear triangles -> 5% front side windows -> 35% front windshile -> none

you should tint your rear window and triangles more, then get a strip for the front

I would get all the windows tinted the same amount, not all different percentages all around the car. Makes it look more even. Personally, i would put 35% all around car, and not worry too much about the front. Just get a strip across the top part of the windshield. Just my opinion.

ive had it done completely in my cavalier, and will have it done again in my celica. I do 35% all the way top to bottom, and love it. Reduces glare. And looks really clean. I never got a ticket for it. Frankly i dont think they can even meter it to give you a ticket. It takes a skilled tinter to do it. I paid like 60 bucks to have it done.

Hey buddy. I had the front window on my 01 jeep wrangelr tinted. Bess thing i did. Man it was spiffy. Not to dark but blocked allto out. My dad took my celica to get tinted and didnt tell tell them to do the whoel front, just the strip. I am also in your boat aobut perscription. But i sucked it up, and got Polorized Oakly perscription sunglass. Were a small fortunone but i wear them everywhere. Only bad this is it makes everyhting rainbow through the tint. So when i had the jeep, everycar infront of me had the color changing paint I woudl say get it done, but get it done light, and get the strip. Then go get youself the perscription sunglasses and let the trippyness begin ps: sorry for bad typing

Only tint the top strip of your windshield, our you will be screwed driving at night, and you will probably get tickets for sure.

Forget the tint. You should look into having the windshield shaved off completely. That would look tight!
