if any of you plan on molding ur kit to the car, there are some adverse effects you need to know about. first off, molding the front bumper on would be a problem because you can't install certain performance mods anymore, or change your foglights. secondly, if your car is daily driven, each time you get in or get out of the car, you will bump your sideskirt and in time it'll start cracking off. not to mention if you hit a speed bump that is too high, it'll jack up the skirt as well as the molding. if you get into a front end collision, the fenders would be pushed back and the sideskirt moldings would break too. the rear bumper there isn't much of a problem. however as you drive, there will be rock chips along your kit, and you will need to get those repaired later, instead of leaving the kit at the shop, you end up leaving the entire car there because the kit cannot be removed easily. so you will be carless for however long. all in all, i think it's not worth it, unless the car is show only and not daily driven.
Molding your kit looks awsome but is crazy. If you ever get into an accident your screwed it will mess everything up. I thought about it but I drive my car way to much and after I have had my fiberglass kit for a year it already has cracks chips and so many things wrong with it that I have to get it all repainted. Your front bumper and side skirts take the worst beating. I suggest urathane and not molding it. Screw fiberglass
keep in mind if you mold just the sideskirts.. you will have to have the front fender and the rear quarter panel on both sides repainted. and if your gonna include the rear bumper.. then you're practically gonna have to repaint over half of the car. so if anything goes wrong.. thats a lot of stuff to repaint. personally i dont have the funds for that kind of a thing. lol but it does look much cleaner.
