I called Toyota they told me the amplified system for the Celica GTS has 180 watts 45 watts per Channel JBL System

Ummmm??? i don't think so it's possible the 2003 system is all JBL our prior systems were I forgot what brand but the head unit was made by eclipse. I think we still use an eclipse unit with JBL amp and speakers.

the stock shit isn't worth keeping around. i'm just happy that our head units are "double" ... it makes it way easier to put a screen in if you have an aftermarket head unit.

I talked to Toyota corp tel 1-800-331-4331 ext #3 The Guy at toyota looked it up and called me back with the info. I was just curious, I already replaced my System, with Boston Acustics. I wanted the info because i'm going to install the amp on my uncles boat.  He said the speaker system was all JBL the head unit was never a question.
