I know this is a dumb question but please help! Does anyone have a close up pic on the TRD sway bars (front n' rear)... i mean does it actually have a TRD logo on the bars itself... or how can you tell if it's authentic TRD or not? confused

If I remember correctly, they don't say TRD on them. The way to tell if they're authentic is by the color. They're a dark red, kind of burgundy, and the bushings should be a lighter color of red. And they're heavy as hell...heavier than the stock sway bars. Plus the front & rear have two holes for a soft or stiff setting.

^What he said except only one of them has the holes for the soft or stiff settings. I think it was the rear.

I got mine from david draper who works at toyota for 180 shipped. I know that they were selling for 160 plus shipping for a while since they are being discontinued. I take that back it seems that the places that had it for that price rose the price back up to 300. Ebay has a few everyonce and a while for that price though.

for 250 shipped you can get some hotchkis. they are supposed to be really nice, mine are still sitting on the floor of my room though. From what I hear they are stiffer then the TRD sways.

Yeah they are stiffer so provide better performance. You might get a somewhat harsher ride, but if you are interested in the performance hotchkis has the best sway bars.

You will be impressed with the TRD's. Dont worry. I have them and love them.
