Is it better for the longevity of the A/C compressor to turn on the A/C at idle speed or on the highway?

I don't think it matters. It IS good for it to run for a few minutes once a week in the winter. Keeps the seals lubricated.

I've only used my AC like ten times since I bought my car. I can't handle my car being any slower then it already is.
