just replaced my lift bolts and one was broken so that was a bitch to get out but now lift still isnt kicking in, isnt it supposed to kick in at like 6k on the 2000 model. i dont know what to so help would be great. thanks

is your car warmed up? it usually needs to be warm before lift kicks in

make sure you have it floored. if you dont floor it all the way mine doesnt kick in. ride it to 8k to make sure and yea drive it for liek 5 min 1st

yea its warmed up its just not kickin in i only felt it once out of many attempts

What RPM did you take the car up to? The reason I ask is because it could be the fuse, I had the same problem last year, no lift at all the the rev limiter kicked in @ 7000 rpm. I took it to the dealer and it turned out to be a blown fuse. They told me the ECU sensed the lift cam not functioning (due to the blown fuse) and limited the rev limit to 7000rpm.

did you plug the wiring harness back in for the VVTI fluid controller? if thats not plugged in you wont get lift.

Which fuse was it? I replaced my bolts and I'm limited at 7k RPM as well. I also think I have a leak too...

did you follow the TSB to remove the bol tor did you drill it out?

drilled it out, for some reason it was worn so much more than the other one

how tight was i supposed to put the lift bolts on or does tht not matter, i just snugged them up a little. i need lift please help

I hand tighted then used the ratchet it so it is very easy to unbolt, but can't do it by hand.
Also the valve cover is supposed to be 7lb/ft
Side note: Which fuse should I check? I replaced my lift bolts and I didn't replace the valve cover gasket so I have a slight oil leak and the rev limiter kicks in at 7k rpm.

well if replace the gasket cause you know thats wrong. Maybe during disassembly and reassembly youll find something else. Check all your fuses.
