I have repalced by low beam bulbs about three time in the last 5-6 months, with two out the three bulb sets being reputable brands(sylvinnas and MTEC). The thing is I had a pair of toucans hyper whites in for over a year, so what is the difference/problem?

my mtecs burned out pretty quick too, within a month actually. Dunno, made sure i didnt make contact with em or anything

anything could relate...loose conection, touching it, fuse maybe...
so many have problems and i have never had any over 2 years.

wear mechanics latex gloves when installing. also, check your wire harnesses and fuses and make sure there isn't a problem

just make sure you don't touch them. and wash your hands with soap just in case.

Buy PIAAs from a PIAA distributor. They suppose to guarranty it for 1 whole year, even if it burns out. Just take it in with your receipt and exchange for a new set for free.

Basically the only thing that I haven't probaly done each time I installed was wear gloves, but I was careful not to touch the bulbs. The only other thing that I think besides expensive bubls suck is that I do have an amp in the back to my sub and I don't have a cap hooked up to it to keep the current stable. So the lights do dim a little when a deep note is hit when I have the system turned up. Other than that, if any one else has an other good suggestions, later.

My lights dim also like that because I don't have a cap hooked up to it to keep the current stable, but my lights haven't burned out in the 3 years I've had the car.
