i was talking with my friend the other day and he had said taht the GT weighs around 2100 pounds and that to me seemed really light. i know the GTS is 2400 and he had said that the GTS motor adds teh extra weight. can anyone confirm this?

Yeah, that's light. Just look it up on the Toyota.com website for the correct weight (it'll be the '05 version, but its still pretty much the same).

the GTS is heavier because of all the parts it has that the GT doesnt have.

says on my vehicle reg. 2450 curb weight which mean w/ fluids and shit so maybe closer to your friends guess without oil and gas ect lol but that still seems low to me and gts i heard is an even 2500

Curb weight is the dry weight, with no fluids, gas, etc. I believe gross weight is what the vehicle actually weighs when you put in all the fluids (comes to around 2600 or so on a GTS, a little less on the GT).
