i might hold off on it just in case, but anyways, mind explaining some things to a new guy like me? i've found this whole world of good stuff lol. if mine is a '04 gts with all that action pckage crap or whatever (all the goods). does this make it a 7th generation celica? what does that mean and what are the differences? and why am i looking at dynos showing stock celicas having 160 (give or take hp), but they advertise 180...?

Welceom Yes you ahve a 7th gen. all the 7th gens look about the same. they are from 00-05 celicas. The generatins have to due with when they completely redesign of the car, for the most part The horsepwoer at the crack shaft withotu being attached to the weheels or anyhting to slow it down is 180. When it is actualyl dynoed tyhey use hp at the wheels so there is mroe things in the way. friction and such form all the parts between wheel and crank. so yea real hp to the ground is 160. Now if you compare to other new cars, liek rsx wich has 210 subtract liek 20 form that too and thats their real hp. still allot but now you can see how dealers advertise hp is higher then what you actually get I appologise for the bad typing i am at work and the keyboard sucks. If i was wrong someone correct me. if you ahve any questions feel free to pm me
