well im looking to get an equalizer but i have noooo clue what kind to get...theres like 5,7,10, and 12 bands..and i have no clue which one to get...so i need some help here guys...this is the pic of the new cd player im getting soon..i also have a system but i dont know if that matters or not, but any help is appreciated..

get the 12. more bands = more options. the more bands the more frequencies you can adjust. same for any audio, profesionsl, home or car. only profesional you have a 31 band eq.

all depends on where your gonna mount it--kenwood sells a small 5 band that will fit in your ash tray opening--measure it to be sure--the eq is a 1/4 din super compact- thumbsup

i wouldn't go 5 if i was you, sony comes with 7 and i almost wish it was more, but i'm also used to using pro 31band eq's

when you install the afermarket console, you have the main slot for the cd player and the second one for like cds, im looking for one that'll fit the cd slot...

Is that unit gonna come with the brain? Because I have the model one up from that one, the P7300DVD and the brain (P8000R) that I have has a kick ass equalizer built in. I would never even consider getting one myself. Good decision going with Pioneer!

Kenwood sux when it comes to equalizers, just my opinion though, I went with Memphis and I couldnt be happier with the output, now I just need components that can handle the power...

yeah the guy im buying it from said it comes with all nessessary parts, but i'll check to make sure that i get the brain, but he seems like a good seller and wont try to screw me but i'll still check! im getting a pretty good deal too...i think the MSRP was like around 700 or so..im getting it for 500..i've always wanted one..do you have any dvd players or video game systems hooked up to it? if so, where did you place them? i was thinking of getting the slim ps2 but not sure where to place it...do you have any pics of your cd player?? also do any of you guys know of any dvd players that'll play VCD's? i have a lot of videos on my comp and i want to watch it in the car..i know its available but im not sure what brands do that...

ok i remember seeing yours..its the reason i thought of an equalizer!! that looks bad ass...so with that eclipse did you have to do any modifications to make it fit? or did it fit perfect into the cd holder slot??? how much of a difference in sound is there and how much did it cost!!!??? thats setup looks badass! thumbsup

im not sure who you r talking too because I dont have eclipse confused

Mine is Memphis and I paid $75 for it grin and as in my install post, the difference is day and night.. cleaner and tighter all around thumbsup

I did have to do some dremmeling but otherwise it slid right in after taking the cover off of the equalizer cool

I have the slim PS2 but I haven't had time to install it in my car yet. I have two inputs on the brain so I think I am gonna do the PS2 and maybe a navigation system.
