So i got my new suspension installed... Hotchkis Springs, Koni Yellows, Hotchkis Rear Camber Links, Hotchkis Endlinks, and TRD Sway Bars. How ever everytime i hit a bump on the road there is this clunk noise.. i think its the sway bar hitting the camber links.. anyone had this problem before?? Or anything similar... how did you solve the clunk.

Verify that the new bump stops have been put in over the old ones!

The swaybar is hitting the muffler heat shield. The nuts on top of the struts aren't torqued correctly. The endlinks aren't torqued correctly.
It could be any of those.

No its the front trd sway bar. We think it is a design flaw since the bar was originally designed for the japanese market. Since the US market is left-hand drive, the front sway bar rubs against the front left member of the car. Mine does it but it is a very slight noise. The only other option would be to grind it down. I would try adjustable endlinks if it is a problem and maybe at the same time grind it a little.

The bump stops were installed I have the old ones in a box. I know its not the front bar as it only makes the sound when the back tires find a bump in the road. Also I believe that as the bars are TRD USA they are made in the USA the sportivo kit might have that problem. The sways were also installed a couple months before the rest of the suspension so I know its not hitting the heat shield. I got the Konis off of Tirerack... should be the same price now...

Interesting. I know that the hotchkis sways were causing the same sound coming from the rear but not the trd's.

It appears that it might be the rear camber links since a few people have had the same problem with the hotchkis camber links. One of the bolts might not be tight enough so you might want to have the shop that installed them make sure they are tightened to spec. You could have someone move the car up and down to find out where the squeak is. Or you could break out some more lube.

Ok so I have now set the sway bar to the "street" setting.. the outer most holes, and the clunking has gone down noticably. So I am quite sure its the passenger side thats hitting the hotchkis camber links. The sway bar is much closer to the passenger side then on the drivers side. I am thinking he sway bar is bent... anybody want to see how close their TRD Sway bar is to the rear control arms in the back???
