I have a 5speed GT. I have been planning on getting the Stage 3 Turbo from C2Power but i have a big fat question. Stage 3 is the tranny set but they need 6 speeds. So that means i need the shifter cables, knob and housing. What i need to know is if this will cause any problems, if i will lose any hp and tourque (if so, how much approximately) and would it still be worth it?
FYI Stage 3 runs over 14-16 psi...at 21psi, the Celica GT pushes around 360whp. Thanks in advance.

going from a 5 to a six isnt nessiarly bad...whats the gear ratio from the first gear of the 5 speed to the gear ratio of the 1st gear in the 6 speed? 21 psi is insane...your engine would probably blow really soon... even with everything moded out to the max on the engine...now im not a professional at this stuff..but i wouldnt run my celi that high with the psi...keep it at like 14 or 16... back to the main idea...would it be worth it to get a new tranny? i would think so. better gas mileage... might be a tad bit heaver then a 5 speed. but oh well...let the professionals decide for you...aka. the people that work there or there is a radio station that takes nation wide calls for free ...its an auto question radio station... its on 89.9 over here in fl...not sure it that helps or not.. ill ask my uncle about it... he specializes in mazda engines but im sure its the same basic idea..his name is Ed Gilfus..you may be able to look it up online and find an e-mail...

Gas from C2Power where i am buying the turbo from has had a stage 3 for 3 years with the internals running 21psi and it is fine I just heard that getting the 6speed cables and housing put into a 5speed with slow it down. Just wondering if this was true. I wasn't planning on switching the whole tranny cause you don't need to. Let me know about your uncle, thanks man. Anyone else have any opinions?
