I ordered Hotchkis rear camber links because I was told that my rear alignment could not be done properly without them due to TRD coilovers. Toyota was able to align the car without them. Should I still get the camber links? Do they provide any benefit? Will they make things any quieter?

I didn't think you would need these. I have the coilovers and my alignment is fine. As far as benefits go, I think the only benefit to them is allowing for easier and more precise camber adjustments. Good luck!

I called TRD about their opinion on rear camber links. They told me that I don't need them, but that I do need something called an elliptical crash bolt. Does anybody know about this?

nope never heard of it. If you were able to get the right alignment with stock components just just stick with it. no need in making things more complicated trust me. the bamber links just make it so that you have a wider range of camber correction and settings. i don't think it will help you since your car is already aligned.

how much did you drop the car with the coilovers?? It all depens on how low the rear goes, once you start hitting about an inch and a half, + more, is where you'll start needing it.
