What's the difference between the both of them? Do they fit differently? I thought awhile back I saw that they were the same thing, but I looked at pricing on toyotaparts4u.com and saw that they are different prices. Whys that? Is it some marketing scheme by the man? Thanks.

it's just the hanger position I think. probably just marketing.

Hey if i get a TRD Lip on for the back of my celica right do I have to get a extended exhaust? Wouldn't it just look fine? Also if I do is there like a extra pierce to extend it or do I have to buy the whole system? If i just have to buy a pierce how much does it go for? Thanks

the extended is like 20-30 more than the standard length. and I would spend the few extra dollars because with the lip it's going to hide the tip more. but if it's extended it'll be an inch or too longer so you can see it better. I have stock exhaust and trd rear and I can't really see the tip all that well. it's kinda recessed into the bumper so it doesn't even stick out past the back end of my car.

probably wouldn't cost too much to have a muffler shop weld in an extra section of 2.5 inch pipe to make it alittle longer..

But what is the difference between the GTS and GT version of the exhaust?

Ok, well lets think about this a minute. I would believe that the exhaust should be a little different. I would assume that the GT does not push out as much exhaust as the GTS due to lift and that would be due to the higher compression and farther valve throw allowing more air into and out of the chamber. Therefore to create ample amount of back pressure and other things i really don't know much about. I would believe the resistance of the muffler and entire exhaust would have to be different. However it would probably be shaped in the same way since the placement of the exhaust systems are in the same place.

Best to buy the extended so your rear bumper won't have so much exhaust buildup on it and you can actually see the exhaust.

I have the same question. I want to know if a TRD GT exhaust will fit on GTS. I just emailed TRD USA to find out. I haven't gotten a response yet, but I will post the email I get from them.

I think the diameter is different...
GT = o GTS = O
When we repair my celica GTS we had a GT exhaust and the guy put back my old GTS on he said that the diameter was different...
