Does it work for a 2001 celica gts? Someone told me that it only works on turbo is this true? I want to get one and I heard that you need to tune it when you get it. Can someone give me info on what does it do and stuff and if it adds a lot of performance?

It does not work. It will override itself in about 2 weeks because the celica's ecu is too smart. If you want a piggyback get the e-Manage, if you want a stand alone, get the powerfc. Both those work and wont get overrode. You just get to tune them to suit your car altering how much fuel goes it etc.

mine works fine. I just reset the ecu when I want the changes to take effect. it's a pain but my GF loves watching the thing go to work. It also helps me gauge how much each performance add-on is giving me. If you have the money go with the PFC but if you want a cool device that's mostly for show go ahead and pick it up it looks great at night.

Just get the e-Manage since it works.
