OK. I believe this is something no one has done before. I actually painted the exterior of the headlights. I also tinted the bottom part of the headlight and the sidemarkers. I think it looks amazing. I also painted my console but I'll post another topic with those pics. Let me know what you think. I have pictures of the actual install too. I plan on putting together an install page to tell others how to do this, but not sure how to. Here comes the pics:

I hope you used bat's overlays and didn't actually paint the headlight.

re-read his post. He painted.

It does look good, don't get me wrong, but you could've gotten the same look with the overlays and be able to remove them later on.

Good job, though.. it looks good thumbsup

I wonder how well that paint will hold up in the long run.

Don't get me wrong, Bat does make decent overlays. I had his H4 Headlight kit before in spec blue. I didn't match as good as I wanted it too and it had a lot of bubbles so I took it off.

This way, the paint matches perfectly, it was cheaper and easier to do and I think it looks ten times better. thumbsup

As far as how well it will hold up, it's three coats of plastic promoter, 5 coats of paint and 5 coats of clearcoat. I think it'll last.
