Evo or s2000... But the 350z are nice too... Would you really want to sell a celica for another celica????

I'd never mix friends/ Business but thats you. I'd get the S2000. Yea the celica does seem a little out of place there with the more expensive nicer cars. smile

I'd go with the s2000 except it's a convertable (that's the only thing I don't like about them), so I'd say an evo personally.

I'm not a 350 Z fan. You gotta do what seems good for you though. If you go with an EVO, you'd end up with a 4-door like you were originally planning.

it all depends on what you want out of a car, performance? (evo) reliablity? (s2k) versaility? (sti) Looks (new Z) aftermarket capability? that the way i see it anyway. but yeah evo+ sti haul 4-5 people and your luggage at crazy speeds and handling

Sti
Torque : 300 lb-ft @ 4000 rpm
Redline : 7000 rpm
Top speed : 152 mph
0-60 mph : 4.7 sec.
0-1/4 mile : 13.2 seconds @ 104.0 mph
60-0 braking distance : 114 ft
200 ft skidpad : 0.90 g
Pros :
- All-wheel-drive handling.
- Barely noticeable turbo lag.
- Great interior trim with high level of standard equipment.
- Really, really quick acceleration.
- Superb brakes, suspension, engine...a cut above the base WRX.

Cons :
- Front end does not suit everyone's tastes.
- Sub-compact rear passenger room.
- Stereo not included in base price.
- Dealer price mark-ups.
- Long-throw clutch.

===========================================================

EVO 8
Horsepower : 271-276 hp @ 6500 rpm
Torque : 273-286 lb-ft @ 3500 rpm
Redline : 7000 rpm
Top speed : 156 mph(electronically limited)
0-60 mph : 4.8 sec., 4.4 sec.(RS)
0-1/4 mile : 13.1 sec @ 105.1 mph
60-0 braking distance : 110 ft
200 ft skidpad : 0.95 g
Pros :
- Almost supercar-like acceleration.
- Almost rallycar-like grip.
- Almost unbelievable price.
- Almost seats four of your friends.
- Almost certain to attract attention.

Cons :
- Almost Toyota-like build quality - almost.
- Racing seats could get uncomfortable on long drives.
- US-spec models lose certain features found on Japanese models.
- Sky-high insurance premiums.
- Almost certain to catch the eye of that police cruiser-on-the-prowl.

===========================================================

s2000 is a roadster great handling and weight distribution
Horsepower : 240 hp @ 7800 rpm
Torque : 162 lb-ft @ 6500 rpm
Redline : 8200 rpm
Top speed : 150 mph
0-60 mph : 5.5 sec.
0-1/4 mile : 14.2 sec @ 98.0 mph
60-0 braking distance : 116 ft
200 ft skidpad : 0.92 g

Pros :
- One powerful little 2-liter engine.
- Performance on par with a Porsche Boxster.
- Glass rear window.
- Balanced front mid-ship chassis.
- Starter button is a nice touch.

Cons :
- Interior too cramped for tall people.
- Not much power at lower rpm range.
- A measly 162 lb-ft for a sports car.
- Somewhat numb steering feel at the limit.
- Digital instruments hard to read in some lighting conditions.

=========================================================

the Z is a two seater with a little more trunk space and a little faster but less whipable
Horsepower : 287 hp @ 6200 rpm
Torque : 274 lb-ft @ 4800 rpm
Redline : 6550 rpm
Top speed : 155 mph(electronically limited)
0-60 mph : 5.4 sec.
0-1/4 mile : 14.1 sec @ 101.0 mph
60-0 braking distance : 119 ft

Pros :
- That award-winning corporate Nissan V6, but with much more grunt.
- Show-car interior.
- Show-car exterior.
- Base price is a steal.
- Capable front-midship RWD chassis.

Cons :
- A little on the heavy side.
- High waistline and low seats make you feel you're in a bathtub.
- Barely any exterior differences between base and top model.
- Driving on potholed roads is a nightmare.
- Styling is more show-car than go-car.

=========================================================

ever considered the mazda RX-8??
Horsepower : 197 hp @ 7200 rpm(auto), 238 hp @ 8500 rpm(manual)
Torque : 164 lb-ft @ 5000 rpm(auto), 159 lb-ft @ 5500 rpm(manual)
Redline : 7500 rpm(auto), 9000 rpm(manual)
Top speed : 148 mph(electronically limited)
0-60 mph : 5.9 sec.
0-1/4 mile : 14.5 sec @ 95.6 mph(manual)
60-0 braking distance : 114 ft
200 ft skidpad : 0.88 g

Pros :
- Return of lightweight rotary engine.
- Four-door practicality.
- Two-door sporty looks.
- Well-balanced chassis due to front mid-ship engine placement.
- Affordable price.

Cons :
- Improved, but still poor fuel economy.
- Rotary engine expensive to repair.
- Four-passenger interior results in oddly-proportioned exterior.
- Not as powerful as its 2-seater rival, the Nissan 350Z.
- Claustrophobic rear passenger space.

Enjoy

When i ask ppl and friends for their opinions everyones is having a different opinion and a good reasoning to back it up smile. I guess i will have to continue searching.

1) Not a big deal even if it only holds 2 it would be fine, talked to my wife about it and convinced her.
2) I like speed and of course handling as well but speed a bit more.
3) Yes i would like to mod it just like i did the celica, but my mods would be more looks then speed thats why i want a fast car that looks good smile.
