So what is going on with this exhaust. I would like to see some pics of it! Also how long is the wait for shipping on it? Is the best place to get it off the site or directly PM Easy E?
Thanks

actually right now im loving the exhaust do to the fact that the tip will pretty much look like a stock tip, meaning the cops will never give you shit for it. a friend of mine got pulled over for having the trd exhaust, and even do my friend showed him the papers that says it was a legal exhaust, the cop said it dosent look stock so he still gave him a ticket, so for me this is the best exhaust ever, and do some research on trd before buying. there are some bad feedback on them something about the weelding on the mufler

lol TRD? pay more for less? ok.
Yea i heard about the welding on the muffler breaking as well
Cali doesnt have any laws that are very different from other states laws as far as mufflers are concerned. Legal limit i believe is 95 db...lol TRD is 88, TPR is 90...both are legal
TPR Intake! - Injens high end with AEM's low end and NO BOGGING! TPR EXHAUST! - Exhaust made 10.5 whp peak and 32 whp at 6300 on my car!!!

well maybe he means in Cali you can get tested, and it's not an automatic sentence. And once you get the paperwork showing your sound level you can show it to cops who may pull you over in the future.

damn pigs. what if i still had my stock exhaust on and decided to cut the tip off and weld on a TRD or a bigger tip on? stupid cops wont believe that i just changed the tips, not to mention looking under the car and seeing that everything is stock.

Please don't get offended Chris or think I am questioning you in any way but I got a question that I want to ask just to satisfy my curiosity:
What is it that led you to the development of the design of the TPR exhaust, so that it makes the power it does? Would not a straighter exhaust make more power? But then again it seems this may not be the case comparing it to other aftermarket axle backs...
I would think that maximum exhaust scavenging is always the issue at hand.
How does it compare to the Kazuma? at all rpms? (and obviously noise level was also a consideration in your design)
I get my kicks on EC.

My question about the exhust is does it get rid of the muffler right behind the axle and just go straight back from where it would bolt up? I always thought that all the aftermarket companies are kinda missing power by keeping the stock design with that bend there and that it should be straight with a little muffler built into the straight section. Like the Kazuma style where it has a little muffler at the end and get rid of that huge one. Once I see some pics of it and hear it I will for sure be getting it! Just want to wait for the first batch so I can hear a bunch of opinnions.

having no muffler does gain power. I know this cause that's how I always roll. this is also basically the same thing as the kazuma. I dyno the same as the trd exhaust. (cept it was free to do lol)
TPR's exhaust dyno was much better then mine. and it's a lot more quiet then the way I have it now.
the theory -
the theory he used when creating his exhaust is simple. keep the gas hot and the velocity up.
also it's really light so thats a bonus too.

What is the 32 whp at 6300rpm all about? Cause that's a huge claim/gain in power. How was that achieved? Can someone explain.

with intake and exhaust, and at lift. you can gain a lot from lift if you let the engine breath better.

Can someone explain. ...that gain was at lift...gts feels like a gt down low, but once you hit lift via. gts, thats when the extra 40 ponies kick...and having the tpr xhaust gain 32whp at lift...thats gettin a lot...ur only losing 8hp frm f.wheel to to wheel itself...

TPR stands for Tuning Precision Racing as per Easy_C's sig.
So you guys are saying that with a TPR exhaust installed on a stock GTS, you gain an extra 32HP? So instead of the 40hp kick when VVTL-i engages, its now a 72HP kick?!

, after looking at dyno sheets I finally figured out what he was trying to say. My bad. I noticed on a bone stock dyno run, HP jumps from 112whp to 130whp when VVTL-i kicks in at 6200rpm. http://www.turbomagazine.com/tech/0209tur_exhuast05_zoom.jpgWith a TRD Exhaust installed, it jumps from 122whp to 142whp between 6200rpm to about 6300-6500rpm. That's a gain of 20whp. http://www.turbomagazine.com/tech/0209tur_exhuast30_zoom.jpgSo with the TPR you get like a 12whp boost extra, and plus peak is a lot more 10.5 vs TRD's 5.5whp gain. Ok, I understand now, so no need to go shoot yourself. sorry

and having the tpr xhaust gain 32whp at lift...thats gettin a lot...ur only losing 8hp frm f.wheel to to wheel itself... mind you the engine breathes better, so it is making more power at the flywheel. you still lose about the same amount of power to the wheel.

yeah i have mine installed. it's a very nice exhaust. tip sticks out a little and is about the same size as stock but that's the only thing that i dont really like. after i get my wings west kit it will look a lot better. has a nice deep sound that's not loud and annoying. i can def. feel a increase in torque and hp. it seems like the car keeps wanting to go faster and faster. great exhaust
