Hey guys...theres an ebay auction for two 18" rims...I have the identical two sittin in my basement from when i got ripped off last yaer...These are 18" with 7.5 offset...Would this be compatable with a 2.5" drop...I need to know as soon as possible so i can bid if possible...Thanx guys!!
7.5 is width, not offset. Offset is something like 38mm, 40mm, 45mm, etc... They will NOT fit. Different bolt patten for one reason. We have 5x100 (though 90-91 ST has 4x100 bolt pattern)
gary shouldnt you be helping me out on alltrac.net, i posted on an old topic in the exterior i think, i need to know the size of our lighting housing as i want to do HID kit and need a housing for the kit on mr2oc.com
if that is the case it should be ok, i forget the rule for offsets, if larger it sticks out more and smaller it gets closer... i forget, hopefully gary can help ya
Smaller offset wheel will stick out more and give you larger gap between strut and inner sidewall of tire. But you can not look at offset alone, you have to make sure the wheel is not too wide. Rule of thumb, you need smaller offset on wider wheel. What size of tire you are planning to run?
