I've always like just painting them black because you can't see them, I think they usually just stand out to much on most cars. For example I think the blue car with red calipers will look horrible..

haha WTF why do I paint my tiny calipers? anyways Hey hombredelasratas go with red man would look way better than blue trust me... and get the VHT caliper paint from autozone for 7.99.

Ok guys for Everyone That Liked how they turn out this is what I USED for them:

1. Clean the calipers extremely well get all the dust and everything out I used brake parts cleaner works very well.

2. The apply the Paint of course, I suggest You do this In several THIN LAYERS this is very important for a great finished and let like 10 to 20 min between each layer of paint.

3. After that Is done let it dry and then apply The clear coat,Again guys several thin layers 5 to 7 will be enough. Clear coat will help with the brightness and will help from dust gettingin the calipers and cleaning them 1000 times easier.

Anyways Any questions Everybody is welcome TO PM me Im more than happy to help everyone Thats Why Ecelica Is the SHIET grin

Enjoy
alex

I painted my recently too, used a caliper paint kit (Dupli-color).
Came with caliper cleaner, paint, tape, and a brush (no spray frown )

Masking off the caliper woulda been too much of a pain, so I just free-handed it with the brush, I think it came out fairly well. I didn't do absolutely every part of the caliper (the metal-looking parts I left alone, while the rouger surfaced areas I sanded and painted). I'll post some pics up when I have a chance to take some smile

I did this a few weeks ago, I'm just not on the ball lately!

Oh yeah, the kit was like $15 or so from Kragen wink
Considering how much everything else costs around here, it didn't seem too bad!

hombredelasrtas: I took the brakes apart thats the best thing you can do To clean them very well because If you left dust and dirt the paint its gonna come off in like a week or two Its better do it right once and dont do it again grin happened to me before and I didnt cover enything dont even worry abour paint getting on the disk once you start using the brakes its gonna come off right away and ill said wait like 2 to 3 hours to apply the clear coat and I highly suggest that you let the paint dry ovcernight meaning dont drive the car at all that day thumbsup.

Arummdark: Yeah I know I bought that one before but I didnt like the tone of red color, It wasnt bring enough. I recommend this paint way better than dupli-color one for the brightess and the glossy finish its all thanks to The clear coat wave

later guys
