Ok so i was wondering, if i get a turbo for my car(2000 gts), and i have the AEM intake(which i know i will have to change), Apexi exhaust, along with the Power FC,how will the tranny hold up? I thought i read somewhere if the stock tranny goes over like 250hp, you should be looking to modify it to hold up with the power. And what about the valves? should i be looking to get better ones? will the MWR valves and valve springs do the trick? or should i be looking for a supercharger since i have been told they are safer for the long run?

Both the valves and the tranny are fine, unless you plan on making lots of power. In that case you will be needing to upgrade a lot more than just the valves and tranny.

ok, so i can stay with the engine internals and tranny being stock and it'll work with a turbo...thats cool, so i am looking at your sig and see you must be the one turbo'ed, so how much boost can you run safely on the stock internals? like 5-8 psi? or is 8 too much...cuz i know this girl that had a 2000 civic si that ran like 10 psi or maybe 12,(cant really remember, but i know it was not that high) on her turbo and blew her engine up...the guy obviously hooked it up wrong and it over-boosted and all she knows now is she is stuck with his mistake and he aint payin to get it fixed.

We suggest 6 psi on the stock engine. Would not force much more on those internals.
Tranny is fine up to 14 psi, w/o drag radials.

So your tranny won't need to be replaced on a regular basis if you put a turbo in a automatic gts... one of my friends said that an automatic tranny can't handle a turbo.

Well the GTS tranny is not any stronger then th GT. It is made out of the same material, just different ratios and 1 gear less in th US. But as I said before it should not brake before 14psi (if not using drag radials).

Well I did not know how nice is my Port and Polish untill I messed up my valve at ~9000 rpm. I had that from the very begining. So after the mess I putted back a full stock head to spare time and it was a big diffenerce on the higher rpms. I could not rev up that high (by force) then before as it had far less power in the upper rpm. So I am putting it back with costum TITANIUM valves now and the crower cams. they just have to arrive.;)
