My best advice is either wait/ or travel and get a GTS otherwise you might regret it. 165 HP is really not that much maybe in the high 15's. I/H/E won't get you up to 165HP maybe 150-155HP. Then cams, P&P, Apexi Power FC, ETC. you looking at somewhere between 1000-2000 dollars.

So either wait and spend an extra few grand and get a GTS.

PFC wont work for 03+ models ... just get the basics ... intake, exhaust and some high compression pistons when the time is right... some guys are a lot better @ this then I am...

where in san diego are you from?

intake, headers, and exhaust. but if you want an instant 50hp gain, i suggest nitrous oxide. you can get more than 50hp, but its just a figure i use to make you think i know what i am really talking about especially with a run on sentence like this. rofl

There are plenty of gts in san diego, i dunno where you got that from. But for basic bolt-ons you can do i/e/h and the emanage. That will cost about $800-$1000 and net you about 15 whp. Like others said for bigger gains you could get nitrous and that would cost in the same ballpark and net you 45-70 whp depending on the shot. If i were you i would look into a used gts, use the money you save on mods and you are well into the 14s with basic bolt-ons.

that is a nice try but it's not a run-on sentence in the least that this one is and it's all relative so you know you got to know how to do it if you're gonna bring it cause the nitrous does do that when you puff it. cool

i dunno once dynoes come out for a i/h/e gt with crower cams, if they can reach about 160whp it would be worth it to keep the gt, because with a good driver that should be good enough for high 14's. and the cost of i/h/cams (since you can remove the exhaust at the race track and its free) would be roughly under 1500 bucks.

spend another 700 for a pfc and 300 on tuning and you could be at about 165whp in a gt thats a nice sleeper! or very nice autox car.

did you ask someone at the dealership to search for you? cause that's a bad idea. i went to a dealership looking for a 5spd GT. well, they couldn't find me one. so i went online and found one fairly close to my house. try your own search, you'll be better off.
