Celica Forums General Discussion General Looking for domelight

My dome light for my 2003 Celica GT has been out for over a year now so it's about time to replace it I think LOL. I'm looking for one with a bluish tint to it, but I can't find regular bulbs that came with the car, let alone colored ones! Everywhere I go online or here in AZ (checker, autozone, etc), they tell me my car takes a DE3175 (the bullet shaped light, but it doesn't, it takes this bulb that looks like a mini bulb that you would put in a lamp or something...I took a pic of mine, and attached it to this post. Anyone know where I can get the right bulb for my dome light?

The only close ones I found were on ebay, so I'll attach that pic after this post. I'm still waiting for the seller to get back to me about whether or not these would work.

unfortunatly the led bulbs wont light up the cabin enough. they face the wrong direction. Try a specialty light bulb store, they may have one. Or jsut go to toyota. Your car is still under warrenty right? They shoudl fix it rihg tup for ya

My dome light went out about 2 weeks after I bought the car ... I have yet to replace it.

Sweet CRBN BLU, that's exactly what I was lookin for! Thanks so much for getting that info for me! Do the M-17s you have give off a blue hue at all or just bright white? i just have the stock light bulb with like a rubber or vinyl sleeve over it that is colored. still pretty bright but just bathed in color now. you can get 'em at autozone for like $1.50 for a pair.

where would I find the rubber/vinyl sleeves? Thanks for the info

The ones in my link are BRIGHT white. The bulbs look identical to those in the cardomain link above. The amount of light output is NOTICEABLY increased over stock. There is no hint of blue, but you might get in trouble with blue lighting (being mistaken for a cop).
