i never really wanted one of these cause they are so expensive, and i know this one isn't the best, but the guy only wants $150 for it and it was like $500 new. said he was gonna put an x-box on it and put it in his car but it's never been used. is it worth it? it'd be cool to put a gamecube on it and play RE4 in the car. anyway here's the specs... the main reason i would want it is for a gamecube. but since it doesn't play mp3s, i would only want it if i can keep my sony mp3 deck, and still run my subs/speakers, etc. through that. but i'd want sound out of the tv for when i play games too. does that make sense? it's just a screen w/ hookups to a gaming system or whatever. doesn't have a built-in dvd player either. but like i said, i just want it to hook up a gamecube too.

Its not a bad price, not the best brand at all. the thing is, you won't be able to keep your sony player if it doesn't have some kind of auxility rca inputs. It doesn't look like the tv/dvd has an internal amplifier (according to that description).
To be completely honest man, you wouldn't be happy with this unit in a couple of months, its not going to have all of the features you're going to want in a tv. I'd say don't get it even though its a good price.

i sold a sweet deck for a kenwood excelon in dash dvd. i lost a lot of sound quality and have had several problems with a 1500 unit. i would only recommend an indash if you get a good one. dont yank out a deck and replace it with something unless its better. you will be disappointed. ive seen people sell pioneers for a few hundered, not the n1 but the older ones. id say keep looking

Yeah man, trust me, just wait and save up for a nice and expensive one, haha! A nice touch screen, that has a built in DVD, outlet for back-up camera and whatever gismo you want to add is well worth the money. I have the Pioneer AVH-6500DVD and shit, I don't know what I would do without this thing now! And I still want to upgrade to a bigger, badder one. It's worth the $2000 or whatever man, trust me and everyone here...we don't give false information
