Well I just got back from Hot Import Nights they had here in LA today and boy was I surprised at the number of celicas they had this year. I counted like 5 or 7 of them. Here's some pics of some of the celi I saw (Look!!! They even had the one with the GT 300 body kit that was in the "Act A Fool" music video)

oh god...so nice!!

It was heaven, one celica popped up after another. although the actual event was pretty boring, we left after about 2 hours. the sad thing is that almost all of the cars featured only had exterior mods. the only engine work they had on most of them were CAI's and nothing else.

well, they wouldnt race it after the event rite? show is enough~

lol, true. with all the stuff they have inside it wouldnt make sence for those cars to be racers. but still, a turbo now and then would have been nice to see...hehe

Anyone know if the RH CR's on that second Celi are the regular ones or multi-piece?

they're the multi-piece 19" versions they cost a bundle (a great deal would be $2,500 for 18"s). those are actually the rims i am gettin in a month or two (the 18's, not 19's) so when i get them i'll be sure to post some pics .

(you can tell they are the multi-piece by looking at the star..it's in the center of the rim and they have "buttons" while on the single piece version the star is almost on the outside lip of the rim and does not feature "buttons")

those rims are gettin over used i have seen atleast 5 celis with these rims i mean i know they are bad ass but they are gonna be everywhere...sorry not tryin to down anyone just my 2 cents

Did you see my yellow GT-300 there? If so do you have pics. I had to have my friend take it cause I had to go to work yesterday. It will be in D1 today for DAZZ Motorspors' booth.

true, i've seen a few celicas with these rims also...but only in shows. the truth is they are too expensive to be overused on the streets. but by getting good reviews and being placed on premier show cars (such as that gt300 celica, for example) it says a lot about how far racing hart has come as a brand.

on the flip-side..it's hard for any aftermarket rims to be overused on the streets because the people willing to upgrade from the factory appearance are few and far between...so it's not like you need to pay over 3k on rims that "no one else will have" you can probably spend 1k on brand new rims and still have some that no one has ever seen before.

p.s. i'm still getting them...i love 3-piece rims.
