Nankang tires?

Anyone have any long or short-term reviews on them. I can get a set very cheap from a friend, even cheaper than usual. My rims have sat for almost a year & I'm losing patience. They are 225 40 18's.

I'm running on Nakangs. They are not a bad tire, I do not get a lot of wheel spin on them and get pretty good traction/handling in the turns. There are definitely better tires, but if you can get them really cheap, then go for it. I've had mine for 10K.

Just be careful when running at high speeds. I have a friend who wrecked because his blew due to excess speeding.

Haven't had mine blow and I even drove past 100 for a while yesterday. I've those triple digits a number of times. He must have hit something (nail, bump, pothole), and the tires may have been in bad condidtion.
