Hey all-

I'm going to disable my DRLs with the one wire method as outlined by Toyota. This involves removing the #17 wire from the ECU harness.

Question is: Some people say they do not have hibeams after doing this. Is this true?

Reason I ask is that in the Toyota publication, there is no mention of losing the hibeams.

Thanks,
Erik Johnson

I don't think so Erik, maybe they cut the wrong wire LOL. I was reading about it too, but haven't seen any mention whatsoever about losing hibeams.

Thanks for the replies guys!

I guess that the people complaining about losing their hi-beams cut the wrong wire.
