Celica Forums General Discussion General I got to play with a Skyline today!

Alright so the shop that did all the work on my car has a customer who jsut wona huge settlement and bought a Skyline R-32 with a RB20 in it. well he decided that the RB20 will not do so he has a RB26 on the way with a 6speed RWD tranny. They had just rolled it off the truck, and we started to wash off the layers of dirt and road salt all over it, and it cleaned up really really nice. I got to sit in it for a while, it was great, Im 6'3 and had the chair all the way back and my knees were still almost touching the dash. Those damn Japaneese people building their car for short people. Im going to post pics in the thread of the skyline and then pics of the other cars that Zen has built.

1 I bet some of that might be japaneese dust haha (I got JDM dust on my shirt)

yeah...I donno man...its still awesome IMO he is about to order a widebody kit for it. its going to be a long process becuase everything he orders gets tied up in customs. its funny tho, all those S-13 guys are already fighting over who gets the RB20 when he takes it out

what are the specs (hp,tq,etc) of the skyline?

i think it would be sick with a sweet paint job and rims and when he gets engine and manual tranny in it

its going to be a sweet car no doubt, he already has gramlites comming through customs. the tires are in the shop they are 295 in the rear and 255 in the front...dayum...my celi has 225 and I thought that was wide.

yeah it doesnt matter if you would take an auto skyline bc it'll smoke you one way or the other...i'd take one auto or not...tell me whos gonna beat me? unless your power-packed, no celica, mitsu, or other nissans gonna touch me...then i bet with just a few upgrades its untouchable...auto or not, the skyline will defeat any car on this site or any other..unless you got a viper or some other domestic pos like that...

sweet cars. I like them all except for the light blue prelude

I think the light blue prelude is pretty damn sweet. The blank mesh between the headlights makes it look a little odd but all it needs is a Honda "H" emblem to take care of that.
