Just did my gauge conversion to blue, I have the blue numbers on black background. I dont have daytime pics rite now, forgot to take it. But heres a night shot.
What you guys think?

Looks good, did you do the LED's too? if so were the difficult?

yea i did the led. It was my first time soldering anything. But it was very easy to do.

not sure, I tooked a lot longer than everyone ive seen that done this. It was my first time soldering so I tooked my time.

oh, little tip if you want brighter needles, thsi si waht i did:
Get a sharpie and some light blue model paint found at any craft store, hell even i think walmart. Just a light blue.
Do 2 coats of sharpie, let dry between each. This will give you the nice dark blue color.
Now do one solid coat of the light blue model paint. Now it will reflect like a mofo at night.

i did mine and wasnt worried aobut warrenty  It will void the warrenty of your gaues so if ur gauges brake they coudl blame it on them

How come your redline is at 8K?

LOL  Its a perminent marker. Comes in few different colors. The blue is jsut dark enough and still trasnparent for the needles, but still need the light blue paint to reflect

How'd you re-set the needles? Did you have any probelms re-setting the RPM and MPH? It wasnt too hard. I had my friends gps in my car and i set the cruise at 30mph and stucked the needle back on there. For the rpm, I read off my 5" monster tach.

yea i did the same. i paced my dad and stuck it on 30. and my rpm is liek 200-500 off
