Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior Carbon Fiber wing length

So I decided to change my spoiler to Carbon Fiber. what's the lenght that I should look into? I'm thinkiing 57", is it too long?

The APR GT-200 Celica Spec wing is 59.5" and that is suppose to be about the width of the stock body, the GT-300 wing goes out further to be as wide as the fender flares. Easy way to see which is the best is to measure the width of your car...

I hate how people tell someone not to get something for their car (unless it is a speed chip LOL). Your style is obviously different then theirs. Your car should be as unique as you are...

easy guys... It doesn't matter what style I go. I can go with Kam, TRD, WW, or this... It's all about how you make it flow with your car.

I know he has his own style, but why not get the APR one? Why get a one that looks like it? When he finally post pics of his car with everything on it, people on this board are just going to say thing such as, "lose the wing", "get rid of the wing", "not feeling the wing", "i like everything but the wing"..and you know that. But do as you like.

Maybe he doesn't have $500 to put towards a wing.

Also, who cares what the people on here will say? 99% of them will never even meet him or see his car in person. All it is, is words on a screen to him.

Then why do people posts pics on here asking "what do you think of my car"...maybe because they do. People on this board help each other out on what to get and what not to get. I'm simply telling him that i don't like it. Another person said they dont' like it, but it is his decision. But people do come on this board for opinions. So you shouldn't say he doesn't have 500 for a wing, just wait until he comes on stating why he likes it.

imo that wing doesnt flow well with what you have got now. huge wing with no kit or ne-thing maybe you should look at other celicas with a kit and a similair wing. but hey its your car do what you please

^^^i second that. i would get one, but most likely the APR one. but if that what you can afford then get the fricking thing.

I would get come facts before judging other people. I have BC2 front and kams on the rest. Might get an OEM Carbon Fiber Hood or VSII from seibon. And some bronze grams light wheels or g-games wolf77.

I can afford an APR, heck I can even afford a kaminari with carbon fiber. that's the advantage of having a job. I don't want it coz almost everybody has it. I don't have anything againsts it nor the TRD and rmm, but it's just over used.

you can go NOPI.com and they have it. But I got this off eBay. The only difference are the length and the "stand"

don't matter the wing, i'd just make sure it is only as wide as the trunk.

I will post pic later when everything is done. Right now I needed more things such as the wheels, hood, coils and wing.

APR GT200 is 59.5 and still exceeds half of an inch. I'm thinking more on 57 that should be enough to closely flush with the body.

Hey buddy i saw that too and it looks spiffy, jsut amke sure one thing, that its real carobn fiber. My dad bought someone similar on for his dino (lower and sleeker) and when it came it was carbon fiber print!!! So jsut make sure ur getting actual carbon fiber and not jsut printed. We were pissed, deff sold that quick Also you knwo that it wont match with your stock holes, so you will need to have those covered up thats my one reaosn for nto getting a wing like that. peog getting WW wing so it matches holes. But if you dont mined the hoel i say go for it
