No I have not.

Just check for rust, some is ok but big spots on the stainless is a bad sign. Also check over the welds. Test drive it for feel and sound. All that checks out, DO IT!!

How heavy is it?

I've heard of them.

They do a lot with Hondas, and are very well know for high performance with them.

The guy who is fab'ing my turbo setup was going to get me one, but they dont have one for turbo application for the celica.

oh well, custom thumbsup

only thing i'm a little concerned with is that it will in fact work with absolutely NO problems on my GTS. he said it will and the part number is the same for gt and gts, but its coming off of a gt. how do i know the computer or whatever else elctronic sh1t won't mess up my sensors, speedo, etc?

People have said before that they used an exhaust that was for a GT on a GTS (or the other way around) and it worked fine. You should be good to go

my dad is such an ass. i'm 22 and the car is in my name, but when i had my surery i had to move back in with my rents temporarily, and now he's on this power trip o f telling me what to do. he's like if you do it your off the insurance policy and blah blah blah. that's so ridiculous. i'ma do it anyway though.

i am a little bit worried about running into problems. what all goes into swapping exhaust? will i have trouble w/ sensors or anything like that?

Getting a different exhaust is not gonna have a negative effect in any way. It will not mess with any sensors. Exhaust is prolly the most worry-free mod you can do thumbsup

Dude, if it's free, just do it, worst comes to worst, put your stock back on. Only costs like $20 to bolt-on and max $100 to weld if necessary.

i can feel a slight boost in power, but keep in mind i don't even have an intake yet. it felt like it stayed in lift a little bit longer.

^ rofl That's not the TRD exhaust. TRD has the inlet & outlet on the same side. And TRD is not the most powerful exhaust. There are JDM exhaust systems that produce more power & weigh less...they're just harder to get and they don't advertise in the US, so not too many people know about them.

it's not TRD as in Toyota Racing Development, it's Thermal Research & Development. it sounds much better than TRD exhaust i've compared with a couple friends and they agree. i have videos with sound clips of it here..
