I have an TSRM cat-back exhaust and Im planning to removed the reasonator. Will doing this still keep the sound like it should be?? Ive heard that there will be popping sound, is this true??????

from experience... get ready to be heLLLLL----a LOUD...
IN TUNNEL, UNDER BRIDGES... drive anywhere with a close surrounding... I have a custom cat back exhaust no rest. and it's hell-a loud... but i like it... i hope ur local "PIGs" don't mind... spineyes

ohhh yea "the poppin'" that's back fire... extra fuel burning and passing through pop in your cat... the rest. that used to be there take the pop noise away... I enjoy the pop... sound powerful... bad for cat...hehehe eek

so it mean that there will be a lots of popping noise going on? ummmmmm, I just don't like popping noise, make my car sound old. But that's my opinion though.

I also have the TSRM and I'm thinking of getting a bypass pipe. Wouldn't the silencer help?

i did it and lets just say i break windows lol straight pipe with no res is nice power boost!

I haev a custom Magnaflow system with no resonator and removing it up the sound by about 5 decibels. Yeah, I know - hard to quantify a decibel but it was noticable and worth doing.
