Ok I know everyone is tried of hearing the same question's but, i'm new to the whole site. I am going to make my first purchase and would like to know which intake is the best for a 01 GT automatic. I'm not looking to race, just extra power, and nice look under the hood.

if TPR ever gets theirs made theirs will be best hands down, even though gain with a SRI is not gonna be as much as CAI, with the fins on the MAFS you will not loose lowend power like every other intake.

yup it will be most effective. looks wise i am not a big fan. the sri i jsut the pipe in half so doent look as good in my opinion. but it will be most effective one by eliminating bogging and cels.

dynos have shown that CAI work best for the GT whether they are injen, AEM, etc...it's the gts where AEM and TPR are on top.

Since your considering all SRI, the Blitz one does have the nicest looking air filter. The Injen looks the nicest overall. K&N Typhoon is not bad either.

I have the Blitz LM and its nice...got a CEL once and after that it turned off by itself and no more since. Sound is great...and is very responsive...and is unique...most people are tripped out when they see the filter...looks massive compared to Injen and so forth thumbsup

if you really want some more power, then get an AEM CAI
but still...auto gt won't get you much
