Just checking if 17 rims If I should put 205 40 17 or 215 40 17 or does it make a large difference?????

Yes, the 205/40/17 will throw your speedo way off, plus the side wall will be way too thin, making your wheel gap look worse. The right size is 215/45/17.

I have 215 40 R17. The spedo is just a touch off. I think if it reads 60mph, I'm actually going 58.6mph better to err a bit slower I think.
