Ok so I have a hole in my carbon fiber taillights. My dad had put some silicon crap in the gap so water couldnt come in (Because with aftermarket tails, theres a gap in between the light and the body of the car).
So 2 days ago I remove my tailights and I get one out succesfully and the other out unsuccesfully. I undid 3 bolts thinking that was it ( I could have sworn I saw only 3 bolts in there).
Sooooo Me being myself, I pull on it pretty hard, and it still doesnt come out. I thought it wasnt coming out because of the silicon that was sticking. So i pull even harder, and bam! It makes a noise. I look, and theres a freakin hole in my taillight now cry
So for the last 2 hours ive been re-sizing the hole and have been smoothing it and cuttin away to try to make it fit. So I ask my dad what he thinks, and I unfortunately leave the light with him as I go to the restroom. I come back and he tells me "look!" So I look and it doesnt fit any more!! angry . I had been working on that one peice for 2 hours and it had fit perfectly and then he comes to try to fix it and fuckin makes the whole too big. Sooo now I have to get new taillights. I was wondering which ones would go good with a black car and if you could post pictures of them with a black car. Thanks!!
Heres a few pics..

I don't let my dad work on anything of mine! he has this attitude like... I've powdered you butt 30 years ago when you were a babby, don't tell me what to do! (I work on jets for a living, he's a farmer) he is always wanting to wire around stuff like it's a tractor or something!
I'me in the same boat with ya!

rofl Your dad owned you tongue

I would go with the Chrome TYC's and paint the chrome black...make the rear more aggressive.

what are ya going to do with your carbon fiber tails now? dont throw them away.. if you want. sell them to someone for cheap to repair...if they do get repaired..thenbuy them back for same price..plus maby a lil grativity for reparing them for ya. id be interisted in trying to fix them if ya want...but im in fl...so that would lead to shipping the tails...its all up to you.
