I have been looking for a long time but can't find any Rear big break kit nor cross-drilled for my GT, only GTS...anyone have any links for a GT rear break kit (big or cross-drilled)?

If it helps, i will get getting a turbo so don't know if cross-drilled will work fine or will i need a big break kit...i just can't find anything for the rear brakes, all for just the front on the GT...please help!

cross drilled will crack. I wouldn't get them. Get slotted. SSBC makes a disc conversion that's slotted.

The other reason is you have rear drums. Get a GTS rear disc conversion, then you can get the GTS stuff... thumbsup Or go to SSBC and get the disc conversion. You cant get discs for the rear without those.

I would not bother much with the rear. When you brake car is on the front so the stock rear does what needed. wink

a rear disc conversion is mainly for aesthetics since it only handles like 5-10% of the braking power compared to the fronts...

Yeah, put the money towards the fronts.

alright thanks guys! so should i get a big break kit or slotted??? which ones would you go with? I will be getting some rims and 17" tires and lowering 1 3/8" so would it be better just to get slotted right now? of course i will go with Brembo or Rotora!

While you upgrading, you might as well go big.

cool thanks...i am leaning towards SSBC Front Big Break kit and the Big Break Kit change over from drum for the rear...both will only total $1500 smile Not too shabby! I will check out powerslot though but i have heard some good things about SSBC. Thanks wave
