hey. I recently got to installing the XM radio in my car. And i decided to put it in that little compartment on top of the radio. Anyways, many months ago i decided to take the cover to that compartment off. Now i wish to put it back on... but i lost the spring and hardware for the compartment door. Couild somebody please post a picture of what that looks like... or does anyone know where i could find a new spring that will work on that door... thanks for your help...

You might just be in luck. It just so happens that I shaving that compartment and making it completely flush and installing ignited toggle switches in it. So I will have those spare pieces! I'll sell them to you for $85 shipped. lol
just playing!
My car might be slow, but at least it looks nice!

shit that would be a lot of money! ... LOL
You got me good, you had me going...
lol, i ended up finding a spring that is pretty close to what i needed at sears hardware, so thats what im using for now... But to be honest i really don't like the XM radio. It is just like cable TV, there is 150 channels, but nothing good is ever on. Lol.

yea, i think i am going to get rid of the XM already, even though i just got it. I think my next project is to buy an IPOD, and replace the XM with that... I got the XM for free from my dad, because he didn't like it... so i guess no real loss, other than time. Which i dont mind, because work on the celi is time well spent no matter what
