This story might be a lil funny but I'm serious . I was driving and my g/f gives me a call saying she left all her tampons in my car and I checked and found em. Well she said she used her last one and needed the rest FAST because she could go at any minute. So I tried to get there as fast as I could keepin a steady pace at 90 on the highway. Well I get pulled over and the cop says he got me goin 89 in a 70 . Anyway I was wondering if I fight the ticket and tell the judge the story would it work? Cuz it was true lol.

no. you were speeding and that's it. if you tell the story and your GF is present with you, you'd prolly get her embarrassed.

Ever see the "well to do types" flyin by ya on the interstate? They just hire a lawyer to go in and postpone the procedings over and over until they throw it out. That's because the cop has to be there,(most places) and he won't show sooner or later, then it's out the winda!

Yea I researched it and they said postponing it will make the chances of the cop showing less and less. If I decide to fight it and lose will my fine be even more? Or will it be the same as if I pleaded no contest?

Does Texas have driving school? If they do, you should just plead no contest and opt for driving school. The ticket won't go on you record, and insurance won't be notified. Looks like you bums there in Texas can even take a class AT HOME: http://www.takehome.com/defensive-driving/index.aspBest of luck; good story too!

You're best off just telling your parents. When stuff happens to my stepdaughter, the thing that "pisses" me off the most is that she tries to hide it from me. Maybe they'll take the car away, maybe not. But most likely they will if you try to hide it from them.

try to fight it anyways. if the cop does not show up then you are off the hook no questions asked. If he does show up you could ask the judge to put the ticket on the shelf and if you get no violations within a certin time period its as if you never got it.
cant say ive done that before... ahh crap

Salar, my advice to you:
1) Find out if you can take a defensive driving course. If you can, great. This will keep the ticket off your record and keep your insurance down. If you can, you will be out some money, but that's it. However, you may be too young. I dunno, you have to find out.
2) Tell your parents the whole story. Its actually kinda funny, so you may have a fair chance of not getting the car taken away. I'm trying to understand why you think you can keep them from finding out. They'll eventually find out, and when they do, and realize you've been concealing it, they'll be "pissed." Just get it over with already.
3) Slow down.

just take the ticket and hand it straight over to your girl..its her fault you got it...if she refuses then make it seem worse than what it really is and after she pays it, say, oh yeah..just playing, and run like hell and get use to masterbating for a while...

Ok first of all tampons are NOT reusable! Second, where the hell was your g/f that she had to have you run them over to her right at that very moment? Third, I say make her pay at least half for being a ditz and leaving them somewhere when she knew she would need them, AND for not having at least one spare on her person at that time of the month!!!!! Fourth, you pay the other half b/c you were the dumbass that was speeding. How you gonna explain to someone's family you injured or killed their loved one b/c you had to run a tampon to your g/f?? Lastly, call your g/f over and have her tell the story to your parents so they can see how stupid you two are together. They'll decide you two should spend some time apart, and you can still have your car for spring break! ps. dude just pay the ticket and learn your lesson! Take a class if available to keep insurance down and points off your license

3) Slow down. what he said oh yeah if you go to court ask for the judge for the mercy of the court and ask him if there is anyway to keep the ticket from going on your insurance. i did that once and the judge made me pay the entire ticket which was like $250 but my insurance didn't raise any

Well if you take it to court... ask wether the cop used the speeding gun on you because those are always challenged because they are not callibrated often and it makes them incorrect
