This will be the replacement for te GTS when it dies, if it dies. This truck is sweet, pwns chevy, ford, mazda, and possibly the new V6 Frontier (265HP out of a VQ block).
4.0-liter DOHC EFI V6 with VVT-i
-245 hp @ 5200 rpm
-282 lb.-ft. @ 3800 rpm
-6-speed manual transmission

from a first hand experience... saw we finally got one..a black one or whatever color it was (dirty) looks awesome, it's a tempting truck to get because our dealer buddies drove it and said it was FAST  i was like...supercharge that shit and then you have a sweet car...300 hp rear wheel drive truck that can handle like a mother it's worth getting, interior is awesome

The last gen tacoma's had econo interiors and a crappy layout. Looks choice this year.

it has handles and speed that would rival an s2K, 350Z and stuff like that  they are freakin awesome. seen a stock one run a 14.1 1/4 mile over here. I think they are bad a$$.
