My Zex kit finally arrived! (took 3 days) I also ordered a bottle gauge and their performance spark plugs. Here are some quick pics.

Did you purchase NEW headlights or did you buy the half eyelids from eBay because the TRD eyelids wont fit with the HID housings???

I've heard good things about the ZEX kit...I heard it is much safer than the NX setups, and is much less of a hassle to install and use. hmmm...

Just take the eyelids to the dealership or bodyshop if you dont/cant paint them yourselves. Although, they will probably want like $100 just to paint them...

yup if you ever go gas go zex...its the best imo bc you dont have to push a button and concentrate on releasing it at the right time, pushing it, etc...once you hit full throttle it opens from a set rpm and shuts down at the set rpm...all you have to worry about is shifting!! im thinking about doing that also but what will the price be with the works: remote bottle opener, purge, zex kit, everything..bc i dont want to do half ass on nitrous and get fried...i heard that they make like small bottles of n2o..i want to hide my bottles like the rx7 in the F&F..i dont want people to see where it is..especially since i work on a AF base and could get randomly inspected...anybody know what they are called and who makes them?

The nitrous sets that come in small bottles made to be hidden are called "Sneaky Pete" Nitrous kits. Nos makes them but I dont know about Zex.

I heard about a big nitrous bottle hidden under the intake of a z06 and all the lines hidden and the guy claimed there wasnt a bottle. What a liar. I think you should be honest in a race, because that shit aint right.

I wouldnt mind hinding a nitros setup either. If someone your racing REALLY wants to see if you have nitos, check under the hood becasue you cant hide it all in the engine bay. I think it would be great to hid the bottle casue I dont want my trunk taken up by a huge tank and I definatly dont want plp to get nosey and start foolin round with it once they see it. I wont say its being false, just like to have more space and keep plps hands OFF!!

what it boils down to is, you dont want to be caught with that shit in your trunk by a cop..i bet you'll get a hella ticket for it somehow...i love it how cars will pull up next to you and revv all crazy at you and act all big and bad..then you press that button and scare the shit out of em'! granted that i wont spray on any car that lines up next to me..when i get it, its only for money period. im not gonna waste a bottle on some punk with a civic who says he can beat me...that way i wont feel like its a wasted race if i lose or win..with a turbo..thats a different story..i'll rev at a school bus full of elementary kids...

I'm waiting for my intake, which will be here tomorrow, after that...this sucker is getting slapped on...now that I've humped the box so much I'm starting to get raw. It truely did feel like christmas again. lol

Someone wants to race...then race. If I remember correctly...someone said "you have to pay to play".
