This morning, tried everything, but car wouldnt start. Alarm, Battery, connections, etc
Got a friend to roll the car, engaged in second jerk to start, but in vain.
Finally called a tow truck to take it to Toyota. The tow truck driver tries, still no luck.
Reaches toyota, brings the car, down, tech sits inside and baam the car is on. WTF!!
Guys, what could the reason be? Toyota says battery looks fine, everything looks ok, they drove 5 miles.

that happened to me back in the summer, it wouldnt start or anything. went to auto zone to get the battery checked out and they said it was running good like 10v's. so i go home and throw it back in the car like play around with the wires, put the connectors back on and i hear like a click and it started.. never had a problem since.. i think its just that the battery is lonely in there and need to see the sun sometimes

i had that happen to me. the lights would work on mine, but the car would act like it was completely dead. it didnt even try to turn over. i cleaned the terminals and everything but no luck. finally i just tightened the the clamps on the terminal really tight and started with no problem at all. haven't had problems since.maybe its the same prob.

Wouldnt be a problem with the starter if you tried to roll it and dump the clutch and it didnt turn over. Im not sure why it would do that, sounds like your car doesnt like you...at least at the moment.

OK, were the lights, radio, etc working? If they were, it could be the starter cutoff switch wasn't working. That's the little switch down by the clutch (if you have a manual transmission). Normally, that switch gets closed when the clutch is fully depressed, but the switch could be defective. If you have a manual tranny, and if the battery itself doesn't seem to be the problem, I'd give that a check.
