yea i on normal driving i shift aroudn 3 or 4 depending on how quickly i am accelerating. i have a tad bit of a lead foot so its normally liek 4500 but i stoped looking at tach with everyday driving.

I would imagine the best time to shift in the celica is around 4-4500 rpms. I consistantly shifted at 3k (which sucked so bad because i wanted to go faster) did that, and ended up getting 450mi. to the tank. Of course, if you are racing, it will be much higher.

For fuel economy, as low as 3k. For more performance, as high as you want.

Wait !! Youre supposed to shift??!! I wondered what the third petal was for!! (No wonder I'm only getting 8 mpg and my engine roars at 40 mph) bwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh
