i want to connect my underglow wire into a fuse for a 12v power source. does any one know how to do this? would it be connected to the the fuses by the passenger side or the engine fuse?which fuse number? i've been trying to figure this out for like a week. then i thought ask you guys!!

i ran my interior neon wire into the passenger side the cig light fuse. looks kinda geto under the cover but works great and light only work if the car is on.

I'd tap it to the fuse box, on the power door locks fuse (blue arrow) tapping on the cig. lighter only works on ACC Red arrow is cig. lighter fuse [i]ps I tapped my underbody neons to the battery. the actual pic it's the power source for my footwell neons.

yeah just pull fuse out and then stick it around one of sides and stick it back in. (ghetto way) or you can do like pic above. Or you can take 2 connectors that would connect on a speaker like a 6.5 or so and take a fuse and put it on is end which makes it a in line fuse! All up to you bro. hope it helps Chad

i did mine the getto way of just wrapping and putting it back in also it was just for my foot wells and vents. my underbody is straight to the battery.

yea i tapped into tialights for my gauges so they come on when lights come on. but jsut get urslef a set of those mini fuse taps and hook to a powersource, preferably one that wont be on when the key is off

perhaps I have misunderstood what you want to do, however I do a lot of electrical work on my car and am very much against fuse taps, I feel they lack electrical integrity, however this is a matter of personal preference. Perhaps you would consider the option of splicing in an inline fuse? This is as simple as getting an inline fuse set-up and wiring it into the power wire. I feel this is a much more professional method. However, perhaps there was a reason you wanted to tap instead?

i have never taped any wire. i basically dont know what the hell i'm doing!! i have read the directions for this thing and it doesn't say much. i just need some one who knows what they are doing to help me figure it out. i'd really really appreciate it
