Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior Rear GT drum to disk brake conversion.

Hello Celica owners,

I currently own 2002 celica GT with ABS system. Since I'm planning to improve my engine performance, I also want to increase my brake stop. My question is that if anyone has done a rear drum to disk brake conversion mod and what parts do I need to configure it? If not is it possible to use the GTS suspension, rotors and calipers?

well if you want rear disc brakes you'll need GTS rotors and calipers. You'll also need the e-brake? GT and GTS suspension is same thing.

Or just get a european Celi GT

Yes, I was wondering about this as well. Is there an online Toyota Parts store that would sell the GTS rotors, calipers, e-brake for cheaper than retail?
