thanks guys. I painted the needles with a blue model paint so that's just how they turned out... I really like them. I used a program called Ulead VideoStudio 8, works great and it very easy to use.

Nice but I don't think you made on 2nd. Lift kicks in at 6200 rpm. Well mine does. Still, great shifting.
If you want something done right, you gotta do it yourself.

you can easily tell I did by the sound. yeah. left does kick in at 6200, but you did still land it. the tacho went fell around 6000 rpms or maybe even a little bit below, but that's basically when the car is in neutral. the rpm's falling doesnt have anything to do where the rpm's are actually at when you put it into 2nd. torque/momentum determines where your rpm's will be when you actually let off the clutch in 2nd gear, so in your case the rpm's popped back up to where they were supposed to be (a little bit above where the needle actually fell while in 'neutral')

Exactly. I have done that... then the guy pulls up at the next light and says..."holy shit what you got done to that?"(because I smoked his stupid Z24) I said "intake, exhaust." guy goes "WHAT??!! that's it??" Even Celica drivers think the celica is slow. I tell them it because they aren't driving GTS 6 speeds. Edit: it's a lot harder to drive while trying to look around the camera too!

^^^^^ well stock mine is at 7800 too but the new gauges put it at 8000 for some reason. The limiter still kicks in at like 8200 or so.

I thought I remember reading somewhere that lift engages at 6.2K and dose not disengage until rpm's drop to around 5.8 or 5.9K?
True or not true?
